Doesn't "Suit" My Style

SUITS does not carry the genuineness of DEXTER neither does it care about being technically beautiful like Breaking Bad, it doesn't carry the speed of Sherlock nor does it have the tension of Game of Thrones. It is like the Fast and Furious version of TV. It has all the elements of a commercial crowd puller. The beautiful people, the conventional twists and oodles of style.

Everybody here seems to be very strongly connected or how else can you explain the cryptic dialogues that they keep mouthing with the best of figures of speech and yet have the listener decoded in no time (and so many times it’s without dialogues too!). The characters are badly etched, or very conventionally drawn. Everybody’s got a story to feel sad about and express when the chips are down. Mike is a savant whose co-incidence of getting a job in Pearson Hardman is near to impossible, Harvey has the typical hero quality of being the mysterious successful man that all women desire, Louis and Donna are both slapstick talkers while Rachel is the diva who dresses as if she wanted her ass to be measured with her skirts on. There is no subtlety in the way the plot is brought is on screen, though the politics of the office can get engaging at times and the drama may keep you stuck. But when it screams so loud with cliches, one can’t look the other way and like it even when they want to.

A Perfect Finish Score: 8/10 The film takes colours from different films, mythologies and history.  It starts with showing how a few apes have already sided with the humans losing all hopes of winning a war against their modern weaponry. Caesar tries to keep it calm until a betrayal begins a chain of events that leads to having his family killed. The whole 140 minutes relies on Caesar’s journey to Colonel to avenge his family, their capture and a war that eventually makes the earth a planet of apes. The realism carried in the character sketch of the ideal leader Caesar, his slogan, his war keeping up the moral integrity at the same time carrying an emotionally deep understanding to his motivation is a straight reminiscent of Moses leading Israelites to freedom from slavery. Woody’s character as the colonel with a cheeky maniacal fashioned avatar talking with convincing statements on his actions reminds you of the Brando’s much more demonic and psychotic Kurtz in Apoca

In Her Paradise

The universe was created with a thought and the thought came from a feeling, the feeling of love, so they say. A sense of protectiveness and insecurity naturally engulfs you with this powerful word. I too felt strong until I held Jia for the first time, and her soft tiny fingers curled into my palm. Jia was born when I was going through one of the toughest times in academics and there was a fear of losing it all. She was born to my elder sister on 15 th  of December, 2012, just a day after my birthday.
